Pick 3 is one of the most entertaining games to play! In order to play, you only need three numbers from 0 to 9 and to choose one of the four modalities: exact, any, exact/any or combo.
This is the only game in Minnesota Lottery where you can decide the quantity you want to bet, from $0.50 to $5 per play. According to these choices, your maximum prize can vary.
Ways to play
- Straight: to win, you must match the three numbers, in the exact order
- 3-Way Box: you pick three numbers, two are the same. To win, you must match all of them, in any order
- 6-Way Box: you pick three different numbers, and to win, you must match them all, in any order
- Straight/3-Way Box: half of your bet is straight, and the other is box. You pick three numbers, two are the same, and the prize varies if you match them in the exact order or in any order.

- Back Pair: to win, you must match the last two numbers, in the exact order
- Front Pair: to win, you must match the first two numbers, in the exact order

Price
Pick 3 tickets have a minimum price of $0.50 per ticket, that increases $0.50 for a single play, up to $5 per ticket.
Procedures
During the drawing, one combination of three numbers is selected randomly which, after verification, will be declared as the winning combination.
