In 2018, Victor Amole of Virginia dreamed of five numbers: 3, 10, 17, 26 and 32. When he woke up, he decided to play them in Cash 5. He bought four tickets with the same combination.

All five numbers came up. Each ticket won $100,000, bringing his total prize to $400,000. Buying the same combination four times multiplied his winnings, but choosing those numbers started with a dream.

New Jersey: A Second Try Six Months Later

Unlike the other lottery winners who dreamed their numbers, a New Jersey player didn’t win on the first try. They said they had a vivid dream about winning the lottery and could clearly see a set of numbers. They played them the next morning, lost, and left the play slip on a dresser.

Six months later, the slip fell out while they were moving things around. They gave the numbers another try and won $1 million with Powerball. It wasn’t the jackpot, but finding that forgotten piece of paper led to an unforgettable second chance.

Maryland: Dreamed Numbers and a $189 Million Jackpot

In 2013, a man from Anne Arundel County, Maryland, said he dreamed that relatives were calling out numbers to him. The next day, he bought 10 Mega Millions plays, combining numbers from the dream with numbers from his birth date.

One of those plays hit the $189 million jackpot. He learned that the winning ticket had been sold at his usual store when a relative called him at work. After hearing the results, he realized he had every winning number on one line.
