Then, one golden ball is selected out of 25 balls. In Powerball, 5 white balls are selected out of 69, and one red ball is selected out of 26. The multiplier number is also drawn after. If people purchased the multiplier option, an extra $1 per game, on their ticket, they can multiply their prize. In Powerball you can multiply it up to 10 times and 5 times in Mega Millions.
